In March 2026 Ludwig Sound will once again take part in Babel Music, one of the most important international gatherings for professionals in world music. The event offers the perfect environment to strengthen international networks and to present the vibrant musical scene of Southern Italy to promoters, festivals and cultural institutions from all over the world.
This year our focus is on the growing collaboration between Ludwig Sound and a group of outstanding artists from Apulia. Over the past years we have developed close working relationships with several projects that represent different facets of the region’s musical identity while sharing a strong international perspective.
Among them is Trevize, whose contemporary approach blends Mediterranean songwriting with modern production aesthetics.
Equally rooted in tradition and experimentation are Le Cumbinate, a collective that draws inspiration from the deep rhythmic heritage of Southern Italy. Their performances connect folk elements with modern arrangements and create a dynamic dialogue between past and present.
The singer and composer Anet represents another unique voice within the Apulian scene. Her artistic vision combines atmospheric soundscapes, poetic lyrics and an expressive vocal style that resonates strongly with audiences across cultural boundaries.
Finally, our long-standing collaboration with Rekkiabilly continues to grow internationally. With their unmistakable mix of rockabilly attitude, Mediterranean groove and ironic storytelling, the band has become one of the most distinctive musical exports from the region.
Babel Music 2026 therefore becomes an important meeting point where Ludwig Sound will present these artists and further expand the international network that supports their touring and development. As always, Carmela will be present to meet promoters, discuss new cooperation opportunities and continue building bridges between the Apulian music scene and the global world music community.
We are looking forward to inspiring conversations, new partnerships and many encounters with friends and colleagues from across the international music sector.
