Ambassadors of New Cumbia
Los Justicieros is a band with roots in the diverse world of new cumbia. Their show blends elements of rock, reggae, funk, psychedelia and ska with cumbia and Latin American traditions. Their music is colourful and wild, making people dance, jump and sweat. What brings everyone together is ‘la cumbia’!
The Los Justicieros project was born around 2012 in the university city of Salamanca. Their first performances took place under the name ‘Dúo Justiciero’. In 2014, they consolidated themselves as a band with an ‘orchestrated’ format that includes a horn section (saxophone, trumpet and trombone), with which they recorded their first EP entitled ‘Cumbia psicodélica para toda la familia’. In 2023 and 2024, the band recorded more singles, two of which they are presenting brand new this year.
